Dear Parents/Carers
KHC, RRHC and LHC will be operating with minimal supervision for students tomorrow, Monday 24 October. This is due to interrupted bus services and the impact of a number of absent staff as a result of the heavy rainfall and the major flood warning issued for Monday. This means normal classes will not run and general supervision of students will occur in spaces such as the library and hall. The operational status for Tuesday 25 October will be communicated tomorrow afternoon.
HSC examinations will run as scheduled at LHC. Students unable to safely get to the examination due to flooding are encouraged to contact their campus when possible. No student will be penalised or disadvantaged if unable to attend due to flooding and a misadventure process will be applied.
The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remains our priority. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a major flood warning for the Wilsons River at Lismore.
We strongly advise families to monitor their local catchment area and the SES and BOM sites. Information is available on the BOM and SES websites:
