Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

diversity and inclusion days, awareness days and significant dates
Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions

Northern Rivers Career Expo

Date: Tuesday 28 July

Time: 9:30 am-1.00 pm

Venue: Lismore Showgrounds

Years 10, 11 and 12 students will attend the Annual Careers Expo. Students will be able to discuss careers and participate in Expo activities with industry representatives, TAFE and universities.

SRC Leadership Retreat

Date: Friday 31 July

Time: 7:45am-5:00pm

Venue: Lake Ainsworth Sport & Recreation Centre

SRC members from each campus are invited to attend TRSC Leadership Retreat. Students will spend the day taking on new challenges to embrace vulnerability, build resilience and recognise their student voice and leadership strengths.

Year 7-10 Parent Teacher Night

Date: Thursday 6 August

Time: 3:30-6:30pm

Venue: Richmond River High Campus

Parents and carers of Year 7-10 students are invited to meet with their child's teachers to discuss learning progress, achievement and support strategies for success. Parent Teacher bookings will be available through School Interviews Online. An email with information on how to access and use the booking system will be sent to parents early in Term 3.

Parents, family and community members are invited to celebrate the success and recognise the achievements of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

End of Year Awards Assembly

All parents and carers are invited to attend the end of year awards assembly. Parents and carers of students who are receiving awards will be sent invitations closer to the event.
