School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Wear It Purple Day 2026 — WEAR IT PURPLE

Wear it Purple Day

Date: Friday 28 September

The annual national awareness day supports LGBTQIA+ youth, promotes inclusion, and celebrates rainbow young people. The official theme for 2026 is "Colours of Courage."

There will be a number of activities at RRHC including a photo booth in the Library and badge making.

Year 8 into Year 9 Subject Selection

Date: Tue 1 September

Time: 4:45 pm

Venue: RRHC Library

Parents and students currently in Year 8 are invited to attend this subject selection information session to find out about requirements for Stage 5, elective courses available and the process for selecting electives for Year 9 2027.

Year 8 Camp

Date: Wednesday 9 September-Friday 11 September

Venue: Coffs Coast Adventure Centre

Students will visit the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary on Wednesday and then travel to the Coffs Coast Adventure Centre where they will stay for two nights and participate in activities that provide personal challenges and develop their teamwork. They will attend the Big Banana on Friday to engage in activities before purchasing lunch and heading home on Friday afternoon.

Join our vibrant P&C.  Meetings are held in the school library. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.

All parents and carers are invited to attend the end of year awards assembly. Parents and carers of students who are receiving awards will be sent invitations closer to the event.
