Learning
At our school, we teach the NSW curriculum and offer many different subjects to support each student’s learning. We know that development of skills in literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for learning and for everyday life. Our teachers use effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their goals.
Assessment Schedules
Assessment programs are provided to students from Years 7 to 12 and are designed to support student learning, monitor progress, and provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and skills throughout the year.
Assessment schedules outline the number, type, timing, and weighting of assessment tasks, along with information about how student achievement is measured, recorded, and reported. These schedules help ensure that assessment practices are fair, consistent, and transparent across all year groups.
The school's assessment procedures provide clear guidance regarding absence from assessment tasks, illness or misadventure applications, late submissions, malpractice, and invalid or unreliable tasks. Students and families are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these expectations to support successful participation in all assessment activities.
For students in Stage 6, additional information is provided regarding assessment rankings, N-determinations, and the appeals process in accordance with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) requirements.
Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning by meeting assessment deadlines, maintaining regular attendance, and seeking support from their teachers whenever required.
Equipment Requirements
These lists are basic requirements for the commencement of the 2026 school year. Additional information will be given by classroom teachers as the school year commences.
