Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Show Team
The show team provides students with the opportunity to work closely with Kadina’s Angus stud cattle. Through this experience, students learn how to prepare cattle for exhibition at local agricultural shows. They also gain valuable skills in animal health and welfare, teamwork, and time management, while developing the ability to work efficiently under limited timeframes with minimal direction.
Surfing
This year, our students have taken part in a Learn to Surf program, which runs throughout Term 4 and may continue into Term 1, 2026. The program has been an exciting and rewarding experience for everyone involved. Students have shown impressive progress—many were confidently standing up on their boards after just three lessons!
Beyond learning to surf, students are also developing important beach safety knowledge, including how to identify safe swimming areas. This program not only builds confidence and physical skills but also equips students with valuable life skills they can use for years to come.
