Rivers Boys Open Softball

'Dream Team!'

On Thursday, 20^th June, The Rivers Secondary College Open Boys Softball team took part in the North Coast CHS knockout gala day.

The first game against Kyogle High saw The Rivers walk away with a 22-2 win.

A 17-1 win against a stocky Kingscliff side in the second game put us into the North Coast Final.

Orara High had a stronger side, however The Rivers boys had plenty of time to warm up and came out swinging, winning 23-1.

There were many positives to take from each game. Lachlan  and Brady took charge from the hill all day.

Riley, Reece, Cooper, Kynan, Brady and Lachlan all hitting many home runs each!

Max,  Luke, Riley, Hudson and Matthew all having valuable hits and plays in the field. This team has many years of success to come. So many confident players coming through the Rivers.
