Due to the significant impact of flooding in the Lismore area, The Rivers Secondary College will have the following organisation in place.
- Kadina High Campus will be operational Monday 3rd April, however without an operational canteen, and with reduced staff.
- Lismore High Campus will be non-operational on Monday 3rd April but operational on Tuesday 4th April 2017.
- Richmond River High Campus is likely to be non-operational until the end of term 1.
To ensure the integrity of Year 12 exams and equity for all students, each campus will postpone the Year 12 half yearly exams until the first week of term 2. There will be no shared curriculum classes Monday 3rd April. Students will be notified tomorrow regarding shared curriculum arrangements for the rest of the week.
Staff and students of Lismore High Campus and Richmond River High Campus will be informed today by their principals of arrangements for the coming week. It is important that our staff, students and their families stay safe during these difficult events. The thoughts of members of The Rivers Secondary College are with the people of Lismore.
