Special Religious Education (SRE)
At Lismore High Campus, SRE for Years 7-10 is delivered fortnightly at various times and on various days throughout the school week.
During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending SRE will be given supervised alternative meaningful activities.
On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be given to the school office in writing.
At Lismore High Campus, Combined Christian SRE is provided by a combined arrangement of the following approved providers for SRE in our local schools including:
- Australian Christian Churches in NSW
- Baptist Union of NSW
- Christian Community Churches of Australia
- C3 Church Australia (NSW)
- Dioceses of the Anglican Church of Australia in the Province of NSW
- Dioceses of the Roman Catholic Church in NSW
- International Network of Churches
- New Heights Christian Fellowship
- Presbyterian Church of Australia in the State of NSW
- The Salvation Army
- Seventh-day Adventist Church, NSW Conferences
- Uniting Church in Australia NSW/ACT Synod
The Special Religious Education teacher at Lismore High Campus is authorised and employed by the Religious Education Association of Lismore (REAL Inc), an organisation governed by the combined Christian Churches of Lismore.
